Apply & track with Apply EdgePOSITION OVERVIEWThis individual will lead day-to-day IT operations while partnering directly with executive leadership and business stakeholders to modernize systems, improve processes, address technical debt, and develop a long-term technology roadmap. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of progressive IT experience, a strong hands-on technical foundation, and demonstrated success leading complex enterprise technology environments. This role requires a leader who can understand the business at a detailed level, identify technology gaps, and translate those needs into practical solutions while maintaining reliable day-to-day operations. This is an opportunity to take significant ownership of the IT function, influence technology strategy, and help move an established organization toward a more modern, integrated, and technology-forward environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead day-to-day IT operations across infrastructure, applications, software development, security, networking, data, and end-user support.Provide leadership and direction to a multidisciplinary IT organization supporting technology needs across the enterprise.Partner with business and operational departments to understand challenges, troubleshoot issues, identify technology gaps, and deliver strong internal customer service.Oversee business-critical enterprise applications and systems, including legacy platforms, Salesforce, Oracle, and other core technologies.Assess the current technology environment to identify technical debt, system limitations, integration gaps, operational bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.Develop and execute strategies for modernizing, upgrading, replacing, and integrating legacy systems while maintaining business continuity.Establish a technology roadmap that aligns IT investments and priorities with the organization's short- and long-term business objectives.Develop and execute initial 30/60/90-day priorities while establishing a longer-term IT strategy.Lead multiple technology projects and initiatives, balancing competing priorities, resources, timelines, and business requirements.Manage IT budgets and help prioritize technology investments based on business value, operational impact, risk, and long-term strategy.Oversee third-party technology vendors, contracts, consultants, and strategic partners.Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements that increase efficiency, scalability, security, reliability, and overall technology effectiveness.Lead, mentor, and develop IT team members while establishing clear priorities, accountability, and performance expectations.Build strong relationships across the organization and serve as a trusted technology partner to executive leadership and business stakeholders.Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and determine where new solutions can provide practical value to the organization.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS10+ years of progressive information technology experience with demonstrated leadership responsibility.Strong technical foundation with a clear progression into senior IT leadership.Proven experience leading enterprise IT operations across multiple technology disciplines.Experience overseeing applications, infrastructure, networking, security, development, data, and end-user support functions.Hands-on experience modernizing, upgrading, replacing, and integrating legacy systems.Demonstrated experience assessing technical debt and developing actionable improvement and modernization roadmaps.Strong understanding of enterprise systems integration and the dependencies between business-critical technology platforms.Experience managing complex IT projects, competing priorities, budgets, and organizational technology initiatives.Proven experience managing third-party vendors, technology partners, contracts, and external resources.Ability to understand complex business operations, identify technology gaps, and recommend practical solutions.Strong cross-functional partnership experience with business and operational teams.Ability to develop and execute 30/60/90-day priorities as well as a longer-term IT strategy.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with executives, technical teams, and non-technical stakeholders.Collaborative, hands-on leadership style with a willingness to learn the business and become actively involved in solving technology challenges.Strong leadership presence and ability to operate effectively within a tenured organizational environment.
