قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجOur client is seeking an experienced IT Director to lead its day-to-day technology operations while ensuring the stability, security, and reliability of its IT infrastructure. This individual will provide both strategic leadership and hands-on technical oversight, serving as the primary escalation point for the IT team and a trusted partner to organizational leadership.The ideal candidate is an infrastructure-focused IT leader who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day operations while also driving long-term improvements. This is an onsite leadership position requiring four days per week in the Washington, DC office.ResponsibilitiesLead the organization's IT operations, ensuring the availability, performance, and security of the network, servers, and core technology infrastructure.Maintain and oversee LAN/WAN environments, network switches, and other critical infrastructure to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex infrastructure and operational issues, including participation in an on-call rotation.Manage and mentor a small internal IT team, including an IT Generalist and a Network Generalist.Oversee and coordinate the work of external IT vendors and contractors.Partner with leadership to develop and execute IT priorities while maintaining a secure, stable technology environment.Drive infrastructure improvements, operational efficiencies, and future technology initiatives as the organization continues to grow.Establish and maintain IT policies, documentation, and security best practices.Monitor system performance, identify risks proactively, and implement solutions that improve reliability and resiliency.Qualifications8+ years of progressive IT infrastructure and leadership experience.Experience leading IT operations in a Windows-based enterprise environment.Strong knowledge of networking, including LAN/WAN, switches, routing, firewalls, and infrastructure management.Experience managing small IT teams and working with third-party vendors and contractors.Broad technical background across systems administration, networking, cybersecurity, and end-user support.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Comfortable working onsite four days per week and serving as the escalation point for critical IT issues.
