ProspectBlue is seeking an is seeking an experienced IT Director to lead a technology strategy and operations in Richmond, VA!!!This role will oversee infrastructure, security, systems administration, and technology innovation across the organization, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the IT department, including infrastructure, network security, systems administration, and help desk supportDevelop and execute the company's overall technology strategy and roadmapEvaluate, implement, and manage AI-driven tools and automation solutions to improve business processes and productivityOversee data security, backup, and disaster recovery protocolsManage vendor relationships, software licensing, and technology budgetsEnsure systems reliability, uptime, and scalability to support business growthCollaborate with leadership to identify technology needs across departmentsStay current on emerging technology trends, particularly in AI and automation, and recommend adoption where it adds valueManage and mentor IT staff (if applicable)Ensure compliance with data privacy and industry regulationsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)7+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership roleStrong knowledge of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and systems administrationHands-on experience with AI tools and platforms (e.g., automation software, AI-driven analytics, or similar) and a track record of applying them to business operationsExcellent project management and vendor management skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholdersExperience managing IT budgets and technology roadmapsPreferredExperience in a small-to-mid-sized company environmentFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or similar a plusAbout the RoleWe're seeking an experienced IT Director to lead technology strategy and operations for a growing company.
