Director of Information Technology

Our client is a multi-site manufacturing organization looking for a hands-on IT Director to lead technology strategy and day-to-day IT operations, based in Woodbury, NY.This is a highly visible leadership role. You'll own the strategic side of the business (IT roadmap, budget, vendor and technology investment decisions) while also staying hands-on - leading the Epicor ERP environment, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and a lean internal team.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute an IT roadmap aligned with business and operational priorities.Lead, optimize, and support the Epicor ERP environment — upgrades, integrations, reporting, training.Oversee networks, servers, cloud services, and end-user technology across all locations.Strengthen cybersecurity, access controls, and disaster recovery practices.Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology projects from planning through implementation.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership responsibility.Strong ERP experience - Epicor experience is required.Background supporting manufacturing, distribution, or another operational environment.Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, network administration, cloud services, and cybersecurity.Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
