1.Global IT Leadership & Performance Management: Manage and mentor geographically distributed IT teams. You will be responsible for evaluating the infrastructure team's performance by establishing and monitoring clear Teamwork KPIs, ensuring all regional IT staff operate as one unified, supportive global unit.2.Team Oversight (3 Pillars):Ops Team: Oversee global service desks and local IT personnel handling hardware and VIP support.Network & Security: Drive Zero Trust architecture, enforce global MFA, conduct IAM audits, and eliminate "Shadow IT".App Team: Direct major software migrations, SaaS integrations (O365, Entra ID), and vendor management.3.Cross-Functional Project Delivery: Act as the primary IT Project Manager for large-scale enterprise initiatives (e.g., global ERP/SaaS integrations, infrastructure migrations, and ISMS certification prep). Own the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring timelines, budgets, and cross-regional stakeholder expectations are actively managed.4.Infrastructure & Cloud Strategy: Standardize AWS/Azure enterprise architectures and resolve regional networking bottlenecks (e.g., enterprise routing, ISP upgrades, and NAS-to-Cloud integrations).5.Vendor & Budget Management: Vet external development agencies, negotiate enterprise software licensing, and manage the global IT budget focusing on cost-optimization.6.Compliance & HQ Alignment: Work closely with Japan HQ to ensure adherence to global security baselines, GDPR, and ISO27001 standards.Required Qualifications & Skills:1.Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in IT Infrastructure, Cloud Architecture, or Enterprise IT operations, with at least 3+ years in a senior leadership role (Head of IT, IT Director, or similar).2.Collaborative Leadership: A strong champion of teamwork. Proven experience managing cross-cultural, distributed IT teams and actively fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and mutual support.3.IT Project Management: Proven experience managing complex, multi-region IT projects from scoping to deployment.4.Methodologies & Certifications: Strong practical knowledge of IT project management frameworks (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). Formal certifications (such as PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL) are highly preferred.5.Comprehensive Technical Acumen (Full Stack):Cloud & Infrastructure: Strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and hybrid environments.Network & Security: Deep understanding of enterprise networking (LAN/WAN, Wireless/AP architecture, global ISP routing) and a proven track record of implementing Zero Trust security models, centralized Identity Access Management (IAM / SSO), and firewall governance.Enterprise Applications (AP): Experience overseeing enterprise application landscapes, driving major system/database migrations, and managing global SaaS integrations (e.g., O365, Entra ID).6.AI & IT Automation Mindset: Forward-thinking approach with experience (or strong capability) in leveraging AI-driven tools and automation (e.g., AIOps, AI-enhanced security threat detection, automated service desks, or AI for code/system maintenance) to streamline daily IT operations and increase team efficiency.7.Business & Financial Skills: Strong financial acumen for IT budget forecasting, cost optimization, and vendor consolidation.8.Language Skills (Bonus): Japanese language proficiency (spoken and written) is a strong plus, as it will greatly facilitate direct collaboration and strategic alignment with the Japan HQ. Excellent English communication skills are required.
