The role also requires close collaboration with attorneys and business development teams to align international affairs activities with the firm’s growth objectives and reputation.Director – International Affairs & Fundraising SpecialistLocation: Dubai, UAEWork Model: HybridProject Focus: IndiaEmployment Type: Full-Time / Project-Based Leadership RoleCompany DescriptionBLACKBULL LAW HOUSE, a Corporate LegalTech organization operating under the strategic management of BLACKBULL Chamber of Investment, provides integrated legal, financial, investment, and business management solutions.As part of its international investment platform, BLACKBULL is developing a Dubai-based international fundraising and investment coordination function focused on supporting eligible Indian businesses and projects through structured capital solutions, strategic partnerships, and cross-border investor relationships.The Dubai team will coordinate international relationships and capital-raising activities while project execution and underlying assets remain in India.Role DescriptionBLACKBULL is seeking an experienced Director – International Affairs & Fundraising Specialist who can independently develop international relationships, identify capital sources, and successfully arrange funding for eligible Indian companies, projects, businesses, and asset-backed opportunities.The successful candidate will be responsible for building a strong international investor and financing network from Dubai and developing structured funding solutions for Indian projects. The role requires a results-oriented fundraising professional who can take a mandate from initial investor outreach through financing discussions, structuring, negotiation, and successful closure within agreed timelines.Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with international investors, family offices, private equity funds, venture capital firms, financial institutions, strategic investors, and other legitimate capital providers.- Source and arrange equity, debt, structured finance, project finance, private credit, and other legally permissible funding solutions for Indian businesses and projects.- Evaluate Indian companies, projects, businesses, properties, and other eligible assets for potential financing opportunities.- Develop asset-backed and cash-flow-based financing structures, subject to applicable Indian and UAE laws, regulatory requirements, valuation, due diligence, and lender/investor criteria.- Explore financing structures potentially linked to eligible Indian assets, including appropriately valued real estate and business assets.- Develop commercially viable return structures, including interest, profit-sharing, equity participation, or other agreed investment-return mechanisms, subject to legal and regulatory approval.- Establish Dubai–India PPP and strategic collaboration opportunities for mobilizing international capital into eligible Indian projects.- Coordinate with legal, financial, tax, compliance, valuation, and due-diligence professionals to structure transactions appropriately.- Develop systems for transparent monitoring of project cash flows, reserves, repayment mechanisms, and investor protections.- Expand BLACKBULL's Dubai-based international capital network and develop repeat funding channels for qualified Indian projects.- Maintain strict confidentiality, transaction documentation, investor reporting, and compliance standards.- Take responsibility for agreed fundraising mandates and deliver measurable results within defined project timelines.Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate should have:- 10+ years of proven experience in fundraising, investment banking, project finance, private equity, corporate finance, structured finance, or investment advisory.- A demonstrated record of successfully raising capital rather than only business-development or relationship-management experience.- Strong international investor, lender, family-office, PE/VC, private-credit, or institutional relationships.- Expertise in structuring equity and debt transactions.- Strong understanding of Indian corporate finance, project finance, asset-backed financing, and business cash-flow structures.- Excellent negotiation, financial analysis, investor presentation, and transaction-management capabilities.- Experience coordinating cross-border investment relationships between India and international financial centres is highly desirable.- Ability to independently originate opportunities, develop financing structures, approach suitable capital providers, and manage transactions through closure.- Strong professional ethics and understanding of KYC, AML, sanctions, securities, foreign-exchange, tax, and other applicable regulatory requirements.Compensation & BenefitsBLACKBULL offers both fixed compensation and performance-linked benefits, subject to the candidate's experience, role responsibility, and mutually agreed terms.The compensation structure may include:- Competitive fixed salary.- Performance-based fundraising incentives.- Transaction/closure-linked benefits, where legally permissible.- Additional benefits based on seniority and project contribution.- Long-term growth opportunities within BLACKBULL's international investment platform.Important Performance RequirementThis is not a relationship-only or learning-stage position.BLACKBULL is specifically seeking a senior professional who can demonstrate the practical ability to source capital, structure transactions, engage qualified investors or financial institutions, and execute fundraising mandates within agreed timelines.Candidates may be evaluated on their previous fundraising track record, investor network, transaction experience, proposed funding strategy, and ability to execute BLACKBULL's India-focused mandates from Dubai.Note: All fundraising, investment, asset-backed financing, PPP structures, and cross-border capital activities will be undertaken subject to applicable UAE and Indian laws, regulatory approvals, KYC/AML requirements, foreign-exchange regulations, securities laws, and transaction-specific legal and financial due diligence.
