That’s All We Do.”Our ValuesWe measure our success by the success of those we serve.We embrace challenge as an opportunity for growth.We are relentless in our pursuit of continuous improvement and innovation.Position SummarySenox Corporation is seeking a Director of Information Technology to lead technology strategy and operations across a geographically distributed manufacturing and distribution organization supporting plants, branches, corporate operations, and business systems throughout the United States and Canada.This is a hands-on IT leadership role for someone comfortable operating at both the executive and technical levels. The Director will establish technology strategy and priorities, develop the IT team, partner with business leadership, manage vendors and investments, and maintain sufficient technical depth to provide direction when complex operational issues arise.Senox has made significant progress modernizing its infrastructure and establishing stronger operational disciplines. The next Director will inherit that foundation and continue the evolution toward a more standardized, observable, documented, secure, resilient, and proactively managed technology environment.Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate combines technical depth, operational discipline, business judgment, and people leadership.This individual should be equally comfortable discussing technology priorities with executive leadership, working with plant or warehouse leadership to understand an operational problem, reviewing architecture with an engineer, challenging a vendor recommendation, or becoming directly involved in a significant production issue.Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, or another geographically distributed operational environment is strongly preferred. Primary Responsibilities Technology Leadership & Business PartnershipDevelop and execute an IT roadmap aligned with Senox's business priorities, manufacturing operations, growth plans, and risk profile.Serve as the senior technology advisor to executive management and partner with manufacturing, distribution, finance, sales, and other business leaders.Establish priorities across competing operational and project demands and provide executive visibility into technology performance, risk, spending, and investment needs.Infrastructure, Network & Cloud OperationsEnsure reliable operation of infrastructure supporting Senox plants, branches, corporate offices, distribution operations, and data-center environments.Provide leadership for LAN/WAN, wireless, switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs, servers, storage, virtualization, backup/recovery, power protection, and related infrastructure.Oversee hybrid infrastructure spanning private infrastructure, colocation, AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365, and other cloud services.Improve network and Wi-Fi reliability across manufacturing and distribution environments and establish appropriate redundancy for business-critical services.Enterprise Applications & Business SystemsEnsure major ERP/application initiatives receive appropriate planning, testing, business participation, and dedicated resources.Establish clear ownership and support models for critical applications, integrations, web applications, and cloud services.Reduce dependency on individual employees for critical application and integration knowledge.Cybersecurity, Resilience & GovernanceOwn Senox's cybersecurity program and continue operationalizing the company's Information Security Policy framework.Maintain appropriate controls for endpoint, server, network, identity, cloud, application, and remote-site security.Oversee vulnerability management, patching, privileged access, secrets management, incident response, third-party risk, backup/recovery, and disaster-recovery readiness.IT Operations & Continuous ImprovementLead Help Desk and end-user services with an emphasis on business impact, responsiveness, and identifying recurring underlying problems.Establish a cohesive IT documentation and knowledge-management strategy that reduces reliance on tribal knowledge.Develop an effective support model for geographically distributed locations where Senox does not have onsite technical personnel.Manage technology vendors, licensing, contracts, renewals, and managed-service relationships.Skills and Requirements10+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in IT leadership supporting multi-site operations.Demonstrated experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or other high-availability operational environments.Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, including LAN/WAN, wireless, switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, fiber, and network redundancy.Experience with Windows infrastructure, Active Directory/DNS, virtualization, storage, backup/recovery, data centers, and Microsoft 365.Experience managing hybrid infrastructure across private environments and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.Experience with ERP environments; Epicor experience is strongly preferred.Strong understanding of cybersecurity, identity/access management, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, incident response, risk management, and disaster recovery.Experience establishing or improving infrastructure monitoring, asset management, documentation, configuration standards, and change-management practices.Demonstrated ability to manage technology projects, budgets, vendors, licensing, and external service providers.
