This position requires a strategic thinker and skilled instructor who can design and lead comprehensive training curricula, collaborate cross-functionally with management to identify and address training needs, and drive operational excellence across the franchise system. The Director of Learning and Development plans and implements training for incoming franchisees, and personally delivers content through seminars, workshops, and individual training sessions to existing franchisees to improve their business processes and profitability. This role requires the ability to teach and present in an engaging, interactive environment that keeps franchisees actively involved and drives real understanding and adoption. Success in this position also requires strong project management skills, keen attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional training and content. This role requires exceptional working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams), as well as proficiency with Zoom, Monday.com, AI tools, and Learning Management Systems. Other duties may apply.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:Franchisee TrainingCreate and lead a comprehensive training program for New franchisees, ensuring they have the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to operate proficiently within the brand's established standards, including pre- and post-training sessions for live trainings and Ongoing Training for existing franchiseesRequired to attend and lead New Franchisee Training in person at the National Support Center approximately 5 days per month, coordinate Wednesday Webinars, and participate in Fireside Chats and Regional Meetings; these responsibilities may evolve over time as business needs changeContinuously enhance and update training materials to reflect changes in the industry, technology, and business practicesAssess training effectiveness through performance metrics and feedback loops, making necessary adjustments to optimize learning outcomesComplete ongoing analysis of competitor training annually and as neededAgencies of ExcellenceLead content creation and curriculum development for the Agencies of Excellence Program, partnering with Technology, Marketing, Legal, and Operations to design engaging, interactive training modules covering sales, marketing, customer service, and compliance, delivered through in-person sessions, e-learning platforms, webinars, and manualsTrain new participating offices and help identify prospective offices as neededCoordinate new franchisee visits to Agencies of Excellence in collaboration with New Franchise ServicesConduct pre- and post-training sessions for Agencies of Excellence participants as educational needs dictateContinuously gather feedback from franchisees and stakeholders across functions to improve training programs and adapt to evolving industry trendsNational Conference Develop and deliver content for the annual National Conference, leading agenda creation in collaboration with other departments, and sourcing keynote and outside speakers as applicableGather post-event survey feedback from conference attendees, speakers, and partners to assess the conference's effectiveness and identify opportunities for enhancement and compile a summary report for Leadership on key insights and outcomesIMPACT SellingDevelop, deliver, and continuously update content for IMPACT Selling training for franchisees and their staff, in collaboration with other departments, to strengthen the training and program over timeAttend and lead IMPACT Selling trainingCoordinate franchisee registration and partner with the Operations team to drive attendanceGather post-event survey feedback from attendees to identify opportunities for enhancement, and compile a summary report for Leadership on key insights and outcomesCross-Functional CollaborationEngage in close collaboration with multiple departments, such as Operations, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Technology, to ensure that franchisee training is in alignment with both overarching business objectives and regulatory complianceServe as a bridge between franchisees and the National Support Center, conveying feedback, insights, and concerns to facilitate continuous improvementSupport and communicate brand quality standards and objectives with franchisees, gathering feedback to ensure the Home Helpers Home Care mission, vision, and BOLD values are executedExhibit exceptional presentation skills, effectively delivering content to all franchisees and internal NSC staffFrequently use online webinar systems, Zoom or other applications and resources in conjunction with the delivery of trainingAnticipate and perform other administrative duties as needed, or requestedProperly document communications within our CRM application when working one-to-one with franchiseesEffectively organize and track progress, with the ability to provide and present reports as needed or directedDevelop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of training programs and partner relationshipsAnalyze training metrics and partner performance data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations to enhance operational efficiencyFrequently use Microsoft Office applications and other general website portalsQualifications:Education/ExperienceEducation or training background;
