Group of Companies, accountable for end-to-end plant performance at the Beverage manufacturing facility.. The role owns manufacturing strategy, production operations, product quality and food safety, cost competitiveness, capital investment, and operational excellence across all beverage production lines — carbonated soft drinks, dairy-based drinks, energy and sports/hydration drinks, and bottled water — ensuring output meets volume, quality, cost, safety, and service commitments in line with international FMCG beverage manufacturing standards.Reporting to the Managing Director/CEO of Bev CO, the incumbent leads the plant's manufacturing organisation, drives the site's Manufacturing Excellence agenda, builds a high-performing plant leadership team, and represents manufacturing on the EABC leadership team.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Manufacturing Strategy & Plant Leadership
- Develop and execute the manufacturing strategy for Bev CO covering capacity, capability, technology, cost, and quality across all beverage production lines.
- Translate Bev CO's commercial and brand growth plans (soft drinks, dairy drinks, energy drinks, water) into production capacity and investment plans, in the way leading beverage multinationals plan supply against demand.
- Sit on the Bev CO leadership team, contributing manufacturing perspective to commercial, supply chain, and investment decisions.
- Own the plant's future footprint planning — new lines, capacity debottlenecking, and automation — as EABC's brand portfolio grows.2. Plant Operations Management
- Direct day-to-day manufacturing operations at the Bev CO facility across all beverage categories and production lines.
- Ensure production plans meet volume, mix, and service-level targets agreed with Commercial, Sales, and Supply Chain Planning.
- Standardise manufacturing processes, systems, and reporting across all lines, deploying a Manufacturing Operating System / Integrated Work System consistent with MNC FMCG practice.
- Oversee shift operations, production scheduling, changeovers, and line efficiency across the facility.3. Quality, Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure all beverages are manufactured in full compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 22000/FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, and applicable Myanmar FDA and export-market regulatory requirements.
- Champion a right-first-time quality culture, minimising customer complaints, product recalls, and non-conformances.
- Maintain plant readiness for customer, regulatory, and third-party audits at the same standard expected of MNC FMCG-approved suppliers and joint-venture partners.4. Safety, Health & Environment (EHS)
- Own the plant's safety agenda, targeting zero harm, and drive a proactive safety culture (behaviour-based safety, near-miss reporting, LOTO, machine guarding) aligned to global FMCG EHS standards.
- Ensure environmental compliance (effluent treatment, emissions, waste management) and drive water and energy efficiency across the facility.5. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Deploy Lean Manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Six Sigma methodologies to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), yield, and line efficiency.
- Build and lead a Manufacturing Excellence / Continuous Improvement capability that identifies, prioritises, and delivers a sustained productivity and cost-savings pipeline, benchmarked against MNC FMCG continuous-improvement programmes.
- Institutionalise root-cause problem solving, daily management systems, and visual management on the shop floor.6. Cost, Budget & Capital Management
- Own the plant's manufacturing P&L: conversion cost, cost per case/unit, material yield, and overhead, delivering against budget and productivity targets.
- Lead annual manufacturing budgeting, capital expenditure planning, and business case development for new lines, capacity expansion, and automation.
- Manage capital projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and rigorous vendor/contractor management for imported production technology (Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, China).7. Supply Chain & Planning Integration
- Partner with Procurement, Supply Chain Planning, and Logistics to ensure reliable raw and packaging material supply, inventory optimisation, and finished-goods availability.
- Represent Manufacturing in Bev CO's Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, balancing demand, capacity, and inventory.8. People Leadership & Capability Building
- Build, coach, and lead a strong plant leadership team, developing a robust succession pipeline for production, engineering, and quality roles.
- Design and implement structured capability-building programmes (technical, safety, leadership) for operators, technicians, and managers, comparable to craft-skills programmes run by MNC FMCG manufacturers.
- Drive employee engagement, talent retention, and a performance-based culture across the plant workforce; manage industrial/labour relations where applicable.9. Sustainability & ESG
- Lead the plant's contribution to the Group's sustainability agenda — water stewardship, energy efficiency, packaging/plastics reduction, and emissions reduction — in line with global FMCG beverage sustainability commitments.10. Stakeholder Management & Governance
- Act as the primary manufacturing interface with Bev CO's Managing Director/CEO, and functional leaders (Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, HR, R&D/Quality).
- Manage relationships with regulators, technology/equipment suppliers, joint-venture partners, and industry bodies.
- Provide regular plant performance reporting and risk updates to EABC and Group leadership.
