Job Summary The Director of Marketing is a strategic executive responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive, data-driven marketing and growth strategy that enhances and differentiates brand reputation, drives premium growth and strengthens policyholder relationships. It's not just a workplace; it's a community where we support, encourage, and uplift each other.LocationMinneapolis, MNPrimary Duties and Responsibilities · Develop and execute a long-term marketing and brand strategy aligned with Company goals and strategic vision.· Position the Company as a trusted partner and leader in its target markets.· Serve as the organization’s lead voice on market trends, customer insights and competitive positioning.· Develop and optimize lead generation strategies, enhance relationships with bar associations and affinity partners and identify new market opportunities and expansion strategies.· Lead corporate communications, ensuring alignment of brand with MLM values and policyholder-centric mission.· Oversee brand strategy, positioning and messaging consistency across all channels. Implement and launch new mission and company rebrand to drive growth and loyalty externally and to build internal culture and engagement.· Establish and monitor key marketing metrics, including growth, retention, engagement, and return on investment.· Develop and manage marketing budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources.· Leverage data analytics and technology to inform strategy and improve performance.· Build, lead, and develop a high-performing marketing team and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.· Serve as a Company leader and model Company values in all activities.This posting is a summary of the typical functions of the job, not a comprehensive list of all job responsibilities.Qualifications · 8-12 years of relevant marketing experience demonstrating progressive responsibility.· Minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience.· Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.· Strong background in insurance or financial services preferred.· Demonstrated success in strategic planning, and brand development.· Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.· Ability to lead both strategically and operationally in a hands-on environment.Key Success Metrics· Premium growth and new business production· Policyholder retention and engagement· Lead generation and conversion rates· Brand awareness and reputation· Net Promoter Score (NPS)· Marketing ROI and cost efficiencyBenefitsMLM offers a rich comprehensive benefits package.
