Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (RN) to lead clinical operations within a memory care setting. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing clinical services, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting staff development, and maintaining high-quality resident care standards.The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader with experience in senior care, staff supervision, and quality management who thrives in a collaborative and resident-focused environment.Responsibilities / Job DutiesOversee and manage daily clinical operations within the assisted living community.Develop, implement, and maintain clinical policies and procedures in accordance with state regulations and evidence-based practice.Supervise, mentor, and support licensed and unlicensed clinical staff.Coordinate staffing plans and ensure adequate clinical coverage to meet resident needs 24/7.Conduct audits, monitor documentation accuracy, and ensure compliance with assisted living regulations.Lead quality improvement and infection control initiatives.Collaborate with physicians, pharmacies, hospice, therapy providers, and external healthcare partners to coordinate resident care.Participate in hiring, onboarding, performance management, and staff development initiatives.Assist with resident assessments, care planning, and family communication as needed.Respond to clinical concerns, emergencies, and on-call needs.Support state surveys, complaint investigations, and regulatory readiness efforts.Promote a positive team culture focused on resident-centered care and clinical excellence.Minimum Education & Experience RequirementsActive, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Minnesota.Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience required.At least 3 years of experience in elder care, assisted living, long-term care, home care, or related senior healthcare settings.Previous supervisory or management experience required.Strong understanding of Minnesota assisted living regulations and clinical compliance standards.Schedule / ShiftFull-TimePrimarily daytime leadership schedule with flexibility based on operational needsOn-call availability required for clinical support and emergenciesWhy Join Us?Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on resident care and quality outcomesState of the art facilitiesStable and growing senior care organizationCompetitive compensation and benefits packageLeadership role with autonomy and professional growth opportunitiesPotential for opportunity to become an equity partner over timeApply today to learn more about this opportunity!
