قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجOpportunity Overview We are seeking an experienced Director of Emergency Services to provide executive oversight across a multi-site emergency care network, including a high-volume Main ER, a Surgical Hospital ER, and four Free-Standing Emergency Departments (FSEDs). This role oversees 100+ FTEs and directly supports strategic growth, clinical quality, budget forecasting, throughput optimization, and strong medical director partnerships.Major ResponsibilitiesQuality & Clinical OperationsCultivates a superior clinical identity using evidence-based practices to advance patient safety and quality outcomes; manages variation in clinical practice to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and cost control.Ensures strict adherence to standards of care, legal/regulatory standards, internal/external benchmarks, accreditations, and designations.Oversees equipment maintenance in accordance with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.Directs nursing practice and unit operations, developing policies and standards to assess, meet, and evaluate patient and family needs.Optimizes patient throughput and care delivery via volume forecasting, flow coordination, admission/discharge planning, and care coordination policies.Fosters interdisciplinary communication, ensuring appropriate clinical competencies are assigned to meet care needs.Service & LeadershipSustains a positive patient experience and provides leadership to execute strategic roadmaps for customer/patient satisfaction.Leverages feedback mechanisms and collaborates with subject matter experts to elevate service standards.Attracts, develops, engages, and retains top talent, ensuring alignment of skills and roles to meet business needs.Finance & Labor ManagementParticipates in annual budget preparation (revenue/expense forecasts, staffing, equipment); monitors performance, evaluates variances, and executes corrective action plans.Directs labor management, including position control, scheduling excellence, productivity, and premium pay control while maintaining proper patient care staffing.Manages operating expenses, supply/equipment utilization, and cost-reduction initiatives.Scope of OperationsMulti-site emergency network overseeing 100+ FTEs.Main ER: 42 beds (180 patients/day average).Surgical Hospital ER: ~3 patients/week.Free-Standing Emergency Departments (FSEDs): 4 locations (supported by two dedicated FSED Managers).Trauma Designation: Level 4 Trauma Center.Leadership Environment: Features a strong Medical Director partnership; position is open due to the previous Director being promoted to ACNO.Qualifications & RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred.Experience: 3+ years of applicable experience required (5+ years preferred).Background: Must have strong, current Emergency Department Director experience.
