Apply & track with Apply EdgeTaft Brown Associates has partnered with a growing behavioral healthcare organization in its search for a Director of Nursing to oversee nursing operations across three locations in Tennessee.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nursing leader who is passionate about patient care, team development, operational excellence, and building high-performing clinical teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide nursing leadership and oversight across three locations.Establish consistent clinical standards, policies, and nursing practices.Ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.Lead recruitment, retention, staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management.Develop and mentor Nurse Managers and nursing leadership.Ensure compliance with Tennessee regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.Monitor quality, patient safety, clinical outcomes, and nursing performance.Partner with facility and executive leadership to improve operations and manage nursing resources effectively.Drive accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across all locations.Maintain a visible leadership presence and regularly travel between the three sites.QualificationsCurrent, unrestricted Tennessee RN license.BSN preferred; MSN or related advanced degree a plus.5+ years of progressive nursing leadership experience.Previous Director of Nursing, Regional Nursing, or multi-site leadership experience preferred.Behavioral health, substance use disorder, psychiatric, detoxification, or residential healthcare experience strongly preferred.Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, quality improvement, staffing, and nursing operations.Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and achieve results.Ideal LeaderThe ideal candidate is a strong, visible, and collaborative leader who can build trust with teams while setting clear expectations and driving accountability.
