Location: Jackson, NJPosition Type: Full-TimeJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Director of Nursing Services / Wellness Director to oversee resident care management and clinical programs within a senior living community.The Director collaborates with residents, families, healthcare providers, and staff to provide quality care and ensure regulatory requirements.

The Director provides supervision and support to the nursing staff.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing service department and its programs and activities in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines governing assisted living communities.Develop and maintain methods for coordinating nursing services with other resident services, including outside providers, to ensure continuity of the resident's total care.Participate in facility surveys conducted by authorized government agencies as necessary.Collect, review, and analyze clinical outcome data and determine trends.Attend and provide clinical outcome data trends at monthly QAPI committee meetings.Participate in the QAPI Committee in developing and implementing appropriate plans of action to correct identified deficiencies.Assist with resident admissions and discharges, including external assessments and medication reviews.Provide oversight of medication management, including medication education for residents, families, and staff.Serve on and participate in various committees as assigned.Determine and monitor nursing department staffing needs and ensure appropriate staffing levels for each shift.Review nursing services policies and procedures at least annually.Participate in the interview and selection process for clinical support staff, including nurses, CHHAs, and CMAs.Position RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing institution.Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.CPR and First Aid certification.Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Assisted Living community.Excellent communication skills with residents, families, and staff.Understanding of senior care needs.Strong leadership skills to lead, manage, and mentor staff.Strong clinical assessment skills.BenefitsComprehensive healthcare benefitsMultiple medical plansPharmacy and Teladoc benefitsDental and vision plansHealth Savings AccountFlexible Spending AccountsVoluntary Life and AD&DShort-Term and Long-Term DisabilityHospital Indemnity InsuranceCritical Illness InsuranceAccident InsuranceWhole Life InsuranceLegal PlanCommuter Benefits401(k) Retirement PlanEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid Time OffVacation and sick leave in accordance with applicable state lawsCareer advancement and growth opportunities
