This role includes managing nursing staff, coordinating resident care plans, and ensuring adherence to clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and facility policies. The Director of Nursing will monitor quality of care, lead performance improvement initiatives, and implement best practices for infection control and resident safety. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising staffing schedules, conducting evaluations, providing coaching and mentorship to nursing team members, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals. The role also involves participating in care conferences, managing clinical documentation, supporting family communication, and contributing to strategic planning for long-term care services.Qualifications Demonstrated experience in Nursing Management, including supervision of nursing staff and coordination of care.Strong clinical background in Nursing and Medicine with a focus on resident-centered care.Knowledge and practical experience in Infection Control practices and compliance with relevant regulations.Understanding of Long-term Care environments, including care planning, chronic condition management, and resident safety.Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri, in good standing.Previous leadership experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar healthcare setting.Proficiency in clinical documentation, electronic health records, and regulatory reporting.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills; ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.Commitment to ethical practice, cultural sensitivity, and a non-discriminatory approach to resident and staff interactions.Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; advanced education or certifications in nursing administration or gerontology are preferred.
