Larger Skilled Nursing Facility is interviewing now for a DON in Lake Placid, FL. We also have other clients hiring a DON in Lakeland, FL and St Petersburf, FL and Ocala, FL and also in Clearwater, FL.This role includes planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing services to ensure high-quality, person-centered care and compliance with regulatory standards. The Director of Nursing will supervise and mentor nursing staff, coordinate staffing and scheduling, and promote evidence-based clinical practices. Daily responsibilities involve monitoring infection control procedures, collaborating with medical providers, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Nursing Management and leadership skills, including experience supervising and developing nursing teams.Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida required; BSN or higher degree preferred.Strong communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, residents, families, and external partners.Prior experience as a Director of Nursing or nurse leader in a skilled nursing facility or similar environment strongly preferred.
