Director of Operations - Apparel

Our client, an apparel company, is looking for a Director of Operations to join their team in NYC!ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations for a fast-paced wholesale apparel business, partnering with leadership to support growth and scalability.Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including overseas production, freight, customs, warehousing, 3PLs, and customer delivery.Oversee inventory, order management, fulfillment, and retailer compliance, ensuring orders are delivered accurately and on time.Partner with Production, Sourcing, Sales, and Finance to resolve operational issues and improve cross-functional execution.Develop processes, SOPs, systems, and KPIs that improve efficiency, accuracy, visibility, and accountability.Lead and develop the Operations and Inventory teams while managing key external logistics and vendor relationships.Qualifications8+ years of operations, supply chain, logistics, or inventory experience, ideally within wholesale apparel or consumer products.AMT experience HIGHLY preferredStrong knowledge of overseas production, freight, warehousing/3PL, inventory, fulfillment, and major retailer requirements.Proven ability to build processes, improve operations, manage teams, and solve complex issues in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach.
