Operations DirectorLocation: Kingston upon Thames (3-4 days per week in the office)The OpportunityOur client is seeking an Operations Director to support the next phase of the company's growth and operational development. This is a newly created leadership role responsible for overseeing project delivery and service operations, ensuring effective coordination across the business and driving continuous operational improvementKey ResponsibilitiesLead the day-to-day operation of the project delivery and service functionsOversee projects from order through to commissioning and customer handoverEnsure a smooth transition from project completion into service and maintenanceTake ownership of the service division, including responsibility for its P&LDrive improvements to operational processes and cross-functional collaborationSupport the implementation of CRM, ERP and MRP systems to improve business efficiencyWork closely with department managers to improve communication, planning and deliveryMonitor operational performance, budgets and KPIsBuild strong relationships with customers and provide operational support where requiredIdeal BackgroundThe successful candidate is likely to have a background in:Operations Management, Project Management or Service ManagemeHVAC, refrigeration or air conditioningManaging both project delivery and service operationsBudget and P&L responsibilityLeading operational teams and implementing business process improvementsDelivering organisational change and supporting business growthCandidates with approximately 8-10+ years' relevant experienceWhat's on OfferCompetitive basic salaryProfitability-based bonusCompany carBenefits packageOpportunity to play a key role in the continued growth and development of the businessHybrid working with 3-4 days per week based in the Kingston upon Thames office.
