Director of Operations

Make a big impact in a small, growing company in Carmel, Indiana.The Director of Operations will report to the President and lead the day-to-day operations of the business. This individual will oversee a team of approximately 10 and play a key leadership role across manufacturing partnerships, international vendors, inventory, assembly, packaging, shipping, order entry, and customer service.This is a hands-on, customer-forward leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a smaller, entrepreneurial environment and can bring structure, accountability, and continuous improvement to a growing business.Key Responsibilities• Lead and develop a team of approximately 10 employees• Oversee day-to-day operations, including order entry, customer service, light assembly, packaging, and shipping• Manage relationships and performance with third-party manufacturing partners• Partner with international vendors and suppliers• Oversee inventory management, purchasing, and supply chain activities• Ensure customer issues and commitments are addressed with urgency, ownership, and strong follow-through• Partner closely with Sales to align operations and capacity with business growth• Improve operational processes, systems, and efficiencies• Establish and track key operational metrics• Partner directly with the President on operational priorities and business growthThe Ideal Candidate• Proven operations leadership experience in manufacturing, distribution, or a related environment• Experience managing and developing teams• Strong understanding of supply chain, inventory, purchasing, and vendor management• Comfortable working directly with customers and resolving customer-related issues• Collaborative, mature communicator who can build trust and work effectively with sales• Experience working with contract manufacturers and/or international suppliers is a plus• Hands-on leader who is comfortable operating at both the strategic and tactical level• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills• Comfortable working in a smaller company where leaders are expected to roll up their sleevesWhy This Opportunity?This is an opportunity to have a meaningful impact on a growing company while working directly with the President.
