As a key operating entity within the Injury Bridge platform, we serve as a critical entry point for patients requiring immediate post-accident medical guidance, care coordination, and support.As we continue to expand our care programs, referral partnerships, and operational capabilities, we are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead and scale the organization through its next phase of growth.This role combines operational leadership, business management, strategic execution, and organizational development. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable leading teams, implementing systems, driving accountability, and partnering with executive leadership on growth initiatives.Position SummaryThe Director of Operations will have full operational responsibility for 1st Pain Specialists, overseeing multiple departments and leading approximately 40+ team members through their department leaders.This is a true business leadership role with responsibility for operational performance, team development, process optimization, scalability, compliance oversight, and strategic execution.The Director will serve as the primary operational leader for the entity and play a critical role in supporting continued growth, innovation, and patient experience excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational LeadershipLead all day-to-day operations across:Patient CoordinationBilling & RecordsLoss & RecoveryReferral CoordinationEstablish performance standards, KPIs, and accountability measures across departments.Ensure operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Drive execution against organizational goals and growth initiatives.Provide weekly operational performance reporting to executive leadership.Ensure compliance and operational controls are consistently maintained.Process Improvement & ScalabilityOwn the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of operational systems and workflows.Develop and maintain SOPs across all critical business functions.Translate new business initiatives, care innovations, and strategic priorities into scalable operational processes.Identify performance gaps, bottlenecks, and efficiency opportunities.Partner with product and technology teams to improve systems and workflow automation.Leadership & Talent DevelopmentBuild, develop, and mentor department leaders.Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.Conduct ongoing performance management and leadership coaching.Lead staffing strategy, workforce planning, and capacity forecasting.Support recruiting and succession planning efforts to ensure organizational scalability.Strategic & Commercial PartnershipMaintain visibility into patient outcomes, case flow trends, operational performance, and referral partner activity.Collaborate with executive leadership, sales, and business development teams to support growth objectives.Identify operational insights that create opportunities for business expansion and improved customer experience.Serve as a key operational voice in leadership discussions and strategic planning.QualificationsRequired Qualifications10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience with responsibility for multiple departments, business units, or P&L ownership.Proven success leading high-volume operational teams through periods of rapid growth and organizational change.Experience managing managers, supervisors, and department leaders.Strong background developing operational processes, performance systems, and scalable organizational structures.Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and execute complex operational strategies.Strong financial and business acumen.Data-driven leadership style with experience utilizing KPIs and performance metrics to drive results.Excellent communication, presentation, and executive reporting skills.Demonstrated ability to balance operational excellence with growth-oriented thinking.Preferred QualificationsExperience in healthcare, virtual care, medical services, legal services, revenue cycle management, or other regulated service industries.Experience working closely with sales, marketing, or business development functions.Familiarity with care coordination, case management, referral networks, or patient services operations.Experience within a private equity-backed, founder-led, or high-growth organization.Compensation & BenefitsBase Salary - $90,000 to $115,000Bonus Opportunity - up to 30% of salary, monthly BonusLeadership role with significant influence on organizational growthDirect exposure to executive leadershipOpportunity to help scale an innovative healthcare platform
