Apply & track with Apply EdgeSalary: $180,000 - $220,000 annuallyLocation: Onsite - Fremont, CAJob Summary:The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company's operational processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and the highest quality of service. This role involves strategic planning, management of operational teams, and implementation of best practices to support the company's goals and growth. The Director of Operations will work closely with senior leadership to align operational strategies with organizational objectives.Duties/Responsibilities:Strategic Planning and ImplementationDevelop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s overall goals and objectives.Analyze operational performance and make recommendations for improvements.Ensure the effective execution of the company’s strategic initiatives.Team ManagementLead, mentor, and manage the operations team, including setting performance goals and conducting regular evaluations.Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages team collaboration and professional development.Process OptimizationIdentify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains across various departments.Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to enhance productivity and service quality.Financial OversightDevelop and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with financial targets.Monitor financial performance and report on key metrics related to operational efficiency and profitability.Quality ManagementOversee the quality management system to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.Address and resolve operational issues and customer complaints in a timely manner.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with other departments such as PM, Quality, and Engineering to ensure cohesive operational support and alignment.Coordinate with external partners, customers and vendors as needed.Data Analysis and ReportingUtilize data analytics to track performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions.Prepare and present reports on operational performance to senior management.Compliance and Risk ManagementEnsure that all operational activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential operational risksSkills/CompetenciesExpertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.Strong knowledge of production planning, supply chain management, and quality assurance.Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Proficiency in ERP systems and manufacturing software.Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations, including at least 10+ years in a leadership role.Proven track record of driving operational improvements and achieving production goals.Our company does not guarantee immigration sponsorship.
