This role will lead a flagship manufacturing operation with full accountability across safety, quality, delivery, cost, people leadership, and operational excellence.Job LogisticsLocation: Simsbury, CTWork Model: OnsiteTravel: MinimalDay to DayLead manufacturing operations across a complex production environmentDrive performance across safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectivesEstablish and strengthen operational processes, metrics, and accountability systemsImprove throughput, efficiency, schedule attainment, and overall operational performanceDevelop and mentor leaders while building a strong leadership pipelinePartner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Program Management, and other key functionsSupport strategic initiatives, business growth, and long-term operational excellenceRequirementsProgressive manufacturing operations leadership experienceExperience leading a full manufacturing site or large operations organizationProven accountability for operational performance across safety, quality, delivery, and costExperience driving continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, or operational excellence initiativesStrong people leadership, team development, and organizational leadership experienceBusiness and financial acumen, including budgeting, cost management, capital planning, or P&L responsibilityExperience operating within complex or highly regulated manufacturing environmentsAbility to partner effectively across Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Program Management, and other key business functionsAerospace and/or defense manufacturing experienceMulti-site leadership or oversight experiencePlussesExecutive leadership exposureExperience building leadership pipelines and succession plansCompensation: Base $215,000 to $260,000. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
