Apply & track with Apply EdgeThe Director of Operations oversees daily operations across multiple locations, ensuring safety, service excellence, operational efficiency, and financial performance. This role leads Operations Managers and frontline teams while partnering with HR, Safety, Maintenance, Finance, and other departments to achieve company and customer goals.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop Operations Managers, supervisors, and frontline teams across multiple locations.Establish accountability for operational performance, safety, customer service, and company standards.Oversee daily service delivery, including scheduling, fleet availability, on-time performance, and customer satisfaction.Identify operational challenges and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce service disruptions.Partner with HR on hiring, employee relations, performance management, and talent development.Collaborate with Safety and Maintenance to ensure regulatory compliance, vehicle readiness, and a strong safety culture.Monitor operational KPIs, budgets, costs, and financial performance; identify opportunities for improvement.Support new contract launches, business growth, and cross-functional initiatives.Conduct facility and vehicle inspections and participate in audits, risk assessments, and accident reviews.Foster a high-performing culture built on safety, accountability, teamwork, and service excellence.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Transportation, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.5+ years of operations leadership experience.Experience managing teams of 10+ employees.Transportation, logistics, fleet, or related industry experience strongly preferred.Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA regulations.Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Class B CDL with passenger endorsement and air brakes preferred but not required.Compensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 based on experiencePerformance-based incentive opportunitiesComprehensive benefits package including health, retirement, and additional perksWhy choose Addison Group?Pay: We negotiate high salaries using US Bureau of Labor StatisticsBenefits & Bonuses: You are eligible for medical, dental, vision insurance benefits, 401K, and monetary bonusesPermanent Employment: Many of Addison’s Administrative job openings lead to potential permanent employmentConnections: You connect directly with hiring managers from renowned organizationsOptions: You are presented multiple employment options near your homeProfessional Development: You are provided hiring process advice, resume revision, and employment term negotiationAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
