Eskimo Hut serves customers from the panhandle to the coast and is planning expansion beyond Texas, creating opportunities for growth-focused professionals.Role Description The Director of Operations is a full-time, on the road role based at Eskimo Hut Headquarters in Houston, TX. This position oversees day-to-day operational performance across all 8 store locations, ensuring consistent execution of company standards, product quality, and customer service. Key responsibilities include managing operational policies and procedures, monitoring store KPIs, optimizing inventory and supply chain processes, and driving cost control initiatives. The Director of Operations leads and supports store management teams, coordinates training and development, and works closely with leadership to plan expansion and implement strategic projects. This role also analyzes operational data, identifies improvements, and partners with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance efficiency and profitability while maintaining an engaging customer experience.QualificationsStrong operations management and multi-location retail or convenience store leadership experience, with a track record of improving processes and performance.Demonstrated analytical skills and budgeting expertise, including the ability to interpret data, manage P&L, and make data-informed decisions.Proven team management skills, including leading managers, coaching staff, and building inclusive, high-performing teams.Customer service focus, with experience designing and sustaining high-quality guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with headquarters and store teams.Experience in convenience store, food and beverage, or hospitality operations is highly beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.Ability to travel to store locations within Texas and to new markets as needed.
