Founded in Amarillo in 1996, we now operate stores across the state, offering our signature drinks alongside beer, wine, tobacco, nicotine, hemp, and everyday convenience items.The Role The Director of Operations owns the day-to-day performance of every Eskimo Hut location. You will lead store managers, drive sales and profitability, uphold our customer service standards, and make sure each store runs clean, compliant, and consistent. This is a hands-on, in-the-field role. You will spend significant time on the road visiting stores across Texas.What You'll DoLead, coach, and develop store managers and their teams across multiple locationsDrive store-level sales, margins, labor, inventory, and shrink resultsSet and enforce operational standards, store presentation, and service expectationsEnsure compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol, tobacco, nicotine, hemp, and related productsOversee product mix, vendor relationships, and new product rollouts in the smoke shop and specialty categoriesRecruit, hire, and retain strong store leaders, and address performance issues directly and fairlySupport new store openings and remodelsTravel regularly to all Texas locationsWhat We're Looking ForSmoke shop experience with a working knowledge of nicotine, hemp, and mushroom products and how to sell themProven multi-unit retail operations leadership with direct P&L accountabilityA track record of building and leading teams through servant leadership, and a genuine heart for customer serviceWillingness and ability to travel throughout Texas and work a minimum of 50 hours per weekStrong problem-solver who is comfortable making decisions in the fieldNice to HaveConvenience store experienceFood and beverage experienceExperience with regulated products such as alcohol and tobaccoEducation No degree required.
