As the flagship pilot school for Tikvah’s Lobel Center, we integrate rigorous academics, Western civilization, Torah Judaism, Hebrew language, and character formation to cultivate thoughtful, morally grounded young leaders.The Role: Build the School Behind the SchoolReporting directly to the Head of School, the Director of Operations owns the essential infrastructure that enables our educators and leadership to focus on students and academic excellence. We are looking for a builder, problem solver, and strategic thought partner who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, enjoys creating playbooks from ambiguity, and brings high ownership to every detail.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Systems: Build, document, and scale core administrative processes, tracking systems, vendor relationships, and school logistics.Compliance & Risk Management: Maintain comprehensive tracking for local, state, federal, and accreditation standards, records, background checks, and safety policies.Technology & Data Systems: Manage internal software platforms (FACTS, Google Workspace), IT vendor support, tech infrastructure, and testing tools.Facilities & Transportation: Oversee landlord relations, facility maintenance, emergency preparedness, inventory, and school transportation workflows.Finance & Admissions Operations: Support budgeting, procurement, and billing; streamline admissions and enrollment operations for prospective and current families.People & Culture Support: Facilitate staff onboarding, supply management, coverage plans, and administrative operations.Who Will Thrive HereMission Alignment: Inspired by Hadar’s educational vision and committed to building a lasting institution.Entrepreneurial & Adaptable: Comfortable with ambiguity, proactive in finding solutions, and motivated by turning complex needs into reliable systems.High Ownership & Detail-Oriented: Exceptional follow-through, independent judgment, and high standards for execution.Proven Track Record: Experience managing operations, projects, vendors, tech systems, or budgets in a school, startup, nonprofit, or growing business.How to ApplySend your résumé/CV and a brief note describing something you’ve built, fixed, or figured out without a playbook to Dr. Liliana Worth at lworth@hadaracademy.org.
