Director of Operations

We have an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial Operations Director to join a growing commercial fit out, design & build business.This is a highly autonomous role with responsibility for shaping and developing the operational function, driving project delivery and supporting the continued growth of the business.A key focus will be building, leading and developing the Project Management team, introducing the right structure, processes and accountability to support the next stage of growth.You’ll work closely with the senior leadership team across commercial, design and delivery, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards, on time and commercially successfully.Reporting directly to Board level, you’ll have the influence and autonomy to make key operational decisions and drive meaningful change.The ideal candidate will have:Strong experience within commercial fit out, interiors or design & buildA proven track record leading Project Management / delivery teamsStrong commercial and operational understandingExcellent supply-chain and subcontractor relationshipsExperience delivering complex commercial projectsAn entrepreneurial, hands-on approachThe ability to build teams, implement structure and drive growthA diplomatic and collaborative leadership style, with the confidence to be direct and decisive when requiredThe gravitas and communication skills to operate effectively at Board levelThis is a genuine opportunity to shape, mould and grow the operation, with the autonomy to make a significant impact on the future direction of the business.Please apply with an up-to-date copy of your CV or contact Cameron Moore for a confidential conversation.
