Director of Operations

This position requires an immediate start. We are prioritising candidates who are immediately available or able to join within one week.An exceptional standard of spoken and written English is essential for this role, given the level of communication required with Senior Leadership and external stakeholders.Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, this is a broad, hands-on role that sits across the business and provides structure, accountability and operational oversight across multiple functions. The Operations Director will be responsible for ensuring the business operates effectively across its people, processes, systems, governance and commercial frameworks.A key part of the role is having the judgement and commercial awareness to identify what needs attention, take ownership of operational matters and drive them through to resolution, rather than simply escalating issues to Senior Leadership.The Operations Director will also take operational ownership of key business systems, including Salesforce, ensuring technology, processes and workflows effectively support the needs of the wider business.Ultimately, we are looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of the A–Z operational running of a business.Key areas of responsibility would include:Taking ownership of the day-to-day operational running of the businessWorking closely with Senior Leadership on operational priorities and business requirementsEnsuring effective coordination and accountability across different functionsReviewing and improving processes, SOPs and ways of workingManaging commercial agreements, suppliers and external service providers from an operational and commercial perspectiveIdentifying potential operational or commercial risks and ensuring appropriate action is taken.Taking ownership of CRM (Salesforce) and wider business systems, including optimisation, workflows, reporting and adoptionSupporting wider people, compliance, governance and business administration requirements.Identifying opportunities for greater efficiency, automation and process improvementTaking ownership of operational issues through to resolutionRequirements and Experience:10+ years’ overall professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior Operations, Commercial Operations, Business Operations roleUAE experience is strongly preferred, particularly within a commercially driven, professional services or B2B environmentBachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations, Management, Commerce, Law or a related disciplineDemonstrable hands-on experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements, with the ability to manage contractual matters independentlyStrong working knowledge of commercial and legal frameworks, contractual obligations, governance and business riskStrong track record of developing and improving SOPs, policies, workflows and operational processes.Salesforce implementation or optimisation experience is essentialGood understanding of risk, compliance and corporate governance within a UAE business environmentStrong commercial and financial acumen, with exposure to budgeting, cost management and operational reporting
