Company: TST Group / GCS LogisticsPosition: Full-time | Senior LeadershipAn exciting opportunity to help shape the future of TST Group's growing international logistics operations.Following the recent acquisition of GCS Logistics, TST Group is seeking an experienced, ambitious and commercially minded Operations Director – London to lead our Heathrow operations through their next chapter of growth.As a family-owned logistics group with operations across Northern Ireland, Great Britain and beyond, TST continues to expand its capabilities, customer base and international reach.Our acquisition of GCS Logistics represents an exciting milestone in that journey, strengthening our presence at Heathrow and expanding our international freight forwarding, express freight, white-glove and specialist technical logistics services.We are now looking for an exceptional leader to help us build on that success.The OpportunityReporting directly to the Group Operations Director and Managing Director, the successful candidate will take overall responsibility for GCS Logistics, encompassing Global Cargo Services and Global Complete Solutions.This is a key senior leadership appointment, offering the opportunity to lead an established specialist logistics business, develop its people and capabilities, and play an important role in integrating and expanding our operations within the wider TST Group.What We're Looking ForWe are seeking a strong, commercially focused leader who can:Lead, motivate and develop high-performing operational management teams.Drive operational excellence, efficiency, service delivery and profitability.Oversee international freight forwarding, express freight, warehousing and specialist logistics operations.Support the continued growth of our white-glove and technical logistics services.Strengthen customer relationships and identify new commercial opportunities.Champion safety, security, compliance and consistently high operational standards.Drive innovation, digitalisation and continuous improvement.Build strong collaboration between GCS Logistics and the wider TST Group.Contribute to our long-term strategy and ambitious growth plans.The Ideal CandidateYou will bring significant senior leadership experience within freight forwarding, logistics or a similarly complex operational environment, ideally with strong knowledge of international air freight and time-critical logistics.You will have proven commercial and financial acumen, experience developing successful teams and the ability to balance operational performance with strategic growth.Experience in specialist or high-value logistics, business integration or leading through organisational change would be particularly advantageous.Above all, we're looking for someone who leads from the front, builds strong relationships and has the ambition and vision to take an already successful operation to the next level.Why Join TST Group?This is more than an operational leadership role.
