Director of Operations – Screen Printing / Apparel ManufacturingEagle Promotions | Las Vegas, NV | Full-Time | On-SiteCompetitive Base Salary + Performance Bonus | Path to VP of OperationsThe OpportunityEagle Promotions is a Las Vegas-based, top-35 MBE-certified promotional products and branded merchandise company with an in-house production facility serving major enterprise clients.We are looking for an experienced Director of Operations with relevant industry experience to lead our production, finishing, fulfillment, and warehouse operations.We need an operator, not a caretaker. This role owns the shop floor, production flow, and fulfillment execution and is accountable for results—not just activity.The right person understands fast-paced, deadline-driven production and knows how to identify problems, improve processes, develop people, and hold teams accountable. You bring common sense, sound judgment, strong people skills, and a sense of urgency.This is a hands-on leadership position with significant responsibility and a real path to VP of Operations for the person who proves themselves in the role.What You'll DoOwn day-to-day operations across Production, Finishing, Fulfillment, and Warehouse, with accountability for overall operational performance.Lead, coach, develop, and hold supervisors and production teams accountable for safety, quality, productivity, attendance, efficiency, and on-time delivery.Evaluate current production processes and quickly identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, recurring problems, and opportunities for improvement.Fix what's broken, then develop the systems, processes, standards, and accountability needed to prevent recurring problems.Drive shop profitability through improved throughput, labor utilization, quality control, scheduling, equipment utilization, and resource management.Apply Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles to reduce waste, downtime, rework, unnecessary movement, and production delays.Implement and reinforce practical improvement tools such as 5S, standard work, visual management, root-cause analysis, and structured problem solving.Monitor production schedules, capacity, staffing, workflow, and priorities to ensure customer deadlines are consistently met.Improve production and warehouse workflows, including effective use of WMS and production-management systems.Establish and monitor meaningful operational KPIs and use data to identify issues and drive improvement.Partner closely with Customer Service, Sales, Purchasing, Creative, and other departments to improve communication and ensure smooth order flow from receipt through production and fulfillment.Maintain high standards for workplace safety, equipment use, housekeeping, and operational discipline.Build a culture of urgency, ownership, accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.Communicate clearly and directly at every level of the organization—from the production floor to executive leadership.Make sound decisions and take action without waiting for perfect information; adjust quickly when circumstances change.Report progress, challenges, KPIs, and results clearly to executive leadership.Be accountable for measurable operational improvement and ROI—not just activity.What You BringStrong operations leadership experience, preferably within screen printing, decorated apparel, apparel manufacturing, promotional products, commercial printing, branded merchandise, or a closely related production environment.Relevant industry experience is highly important. Familiarity with or an understanding of screen-printing operations is strongly preferred and will be especially valuable in this role.Strong understanding of production-floor operations and the challenges of managing high-volume, deadline-driven custom orders.Experience leading multiple operational functions such as production, finishing, fulfillment, warehouse, shipping, or distribution.A demonstrated track record of turning around, tightening, or significantly improving an operations function, with measurable results.Hands-on experience improving throughput, productivity, quality, labor efficiency, scheduling, workflow, and on-time delivery.Practical experience with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, 5S, standard work, root-cause analysis, waste reduction, and process optimization.Experience establishing and managing operational KPIs and performance expectations.Strong people leadership skills with experience developing supervisors and creating accountability at all levels.Strong cultural awareness and the ability to effectively lead a diverse production workforce.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments and with executive leadership.Strong common sense, judgment, and problem-solving ability. We value demonstrated operational results over credentials alone.A hands-on, high-expectation, get-things-done mentality and the ability to create urgency without requiring constant direction.Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where priorities and production demands can change quickly.Experience with WMS, ERP, production-management, or similar operational systems.Comfortable being evaluated based on measurable operational results and ROI.Spanish language ability is a strong plus given our production environment.Industry ExperienceExperience within promotional products, branded merchandise, screen printing, decorated apparel, apparel manufacturing, commercial printing, or a closely related production environment is highly valued.Experience or working knowledge in any of the following is especially helpful:Automatic screen-printing productionDecorated apparel manufacturingPromotional products and branded merchandiseCommercial or specialty printingEmbroidery and other garment-decoration processesFinishing, packing, fulfillment, and shipping operationsHigh-volume custom manufacturingProduction scheduling and capacity planningAutomatic printing presses and related production equipmentM&R or comparable screen-printing equipmentLean or Six Sigma training/certification is a plus but is not required.
