Position:- Director of Pharmacy Location: Memphis, TennesseeJob Type: Full-TimeLevel: DirectorExperience: 5+ yearsManagement Experience: RequiredEducation: Bachelor's Degree requiredJob descriptionWe are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Director to lead the operations, clinical activities, medication-use processes, and staff of a hospital Pharmacy Department.This is a senior leadership opportunity for a pharmacy professional with strong hospital pharmacy management experience and a proven ability to lead pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, develop staff, and manage departmental resources.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic and operational leadership for the hospital Pharmacy Department.Direct pharmacy practice and ensure alignment with current professional best practices.Oversee medication-use processes and clinical pharmacy activities.Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and accreditation requirements.Recruit, hire, develop, and retain qualified pharmacy professionals.Develop and manage the annual pharmacy department budget.Prepare and manage capital expenditure requests.Review and update pharmacy policies and procedures.Partner with hospital leadership and clinical teams to support safe, high-quality patient care.Promote continuous improvement in pharmacy services and operations.Required Qualifications5+ years of pharmacy experience.Minimum 3 years of hospital pharmacy management experience.Pharm.D. or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.S.
