Employment Type: Full-Time, On-SiteCompensation: $175,000 to $185,000 annuallyMackenzie Stuart are currently partnered with a leading, private equity-backed national home infusion provider, seeking an experienced Director of Pharmacy to lead pharmacy operations within a high-performing branch location.

This is an opportunity to oversee clinical, operational, quality, and team-management functions for a growing organization committed to delivering exceptional infusion care in the home.Position OverviewReporting with a high degree of autonomy, the Director of Pharmacy will provide leadership for all branch pharmacy services, including sterile compounding, medication dispensing, clinical pharmacy support, inventory coordination, quality initiatives, and pharmacist staffing. This individual will ensure pharmacy operations remain compliant, efficient, clinically sound, and aligned with organizational and financial goals.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the day-to-day operations of the branch pharmacy, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient service delivery.Manage, develop, and evaluate pharmacy team members, including pharmacists and support staff.Oversee cleanroom operations, sterile compounding activities, medication preparation, dispensing, and clinical pharmacy services.Partner with distribution leadership to coordinate workflow, inventory needs, and overall pharmacy operations.Support the purchasing and procurement of medications, supplies, and equipment used in infusion therapy preparation and administration.Provide direct clinical pharmacist support as needed.Maintain current knowledge of pharmacotherapy, IV therapy, and home infusion best practices through continuing education, industry literature, in-services, and professional development programs.Lead pharmacy quality assurance and performance-improvement activities, serving as the department’s Performance Improvement Coordinator.Participate in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, training, and annual performance evaluations for pharmacy personnel.Collaborate with branch leadership and cross-functional teams through management and departmental meetings.Prepare operational and management reporting as required.Contribute to annual pharmacy budgeting and help drive performance against monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operational objectives.Coordinate pharmacist on-call coverage and provide coverage when necessary.Serve as branch leadership in the absence of the Director of Operations.Assist with marketing or other special projects as requested.QualificationsBachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy required.PharmD or Master of Science in Pharmacy preferred.Current, active, and unrestricted pharmacist license in the applicable state of practice.At least five years of home infusion experience encompassing pharmacy operations, nursing operations, and clinical pharmacy responsibilities.Strong working knowledge of IV admixture, sterile compounding, and the clinical components of home infusion therapy.Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing pharmacy operations and staff.Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, referral sources, leadership, and internal teams.Sound judgment, problem-solving ability, and strong organizational and time-management skills.Reliable, team-oriented, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.Compensation & BenefitsMedical benefits effective on the first day of employment401(k) with a 4% employer match, with no waiting period or vesting schedulePTO, floating holidays, and paid company holidaysCompany-paid life insurance and short-term disability coverageEmployee assistance and wellness resourcesProfessional learning and development opportunitiesEmployee discount programs, including travel, mobile phone, apparel, and moreEmployee referral program
