⚡ Role: Director of Power Trading🌎 Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)💰 Compensation: $180,000-$250,000 Base + Performance based bonusA fast-growing power trading and asset optimization platform is looking to hire a Director of Trading to lead the commercial management of battery storage and renewable energy portfolios across U.S. power markets.This individual will oversee Day Ahead portfolio management and Real Time dispatch operations, with responsibility for trading performance, risk discipline, client delivery, and operational execution across a growing asset base.Key Highlights

• Senior leadership role across asset-backed trading and dispatch
• Portfolio focus across battery storage and renewable assets
• Primary market exposure across ERCOT and PJM
• Own commercial performance, risk frameworks, and client delivery
• Work closely with trading, analytics, product, and technology teams
• Help support market expansion into new resource types and marketsQualifications
• Strong understanding of U.S. wholesale power markets
• Experience managing or optimizing battery, renewable, or load-based assets
• Background in trading, dispatch, asset management, or portfolio optimization
• Proven ability to lead teams in a high-pressure operating environment
• Strong commercial mindset and risk management discipline
