Director of ProcurementA builder role with enterprise visibility and measurable impact.REPORTS TO: Chief Financial Officer SCOPE: $50M+ diverse spend COMPENSATION: $150K–$160K + Bonus planBuild Procurement at Fenix PartsFenix Parts is creating an enterprise procurement function and seeking a hands-on, strategic leader to build it. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Director of Procurement will assess more than $50 million in diverse, fragmented spending; identify weaknesses and value opportunities; design the roadmap; implement the processes; and establish the audits and accountability needed to sustain results.Your Mission·Create enterprise visibility and discipline across $50M+ in spend.· Build category strategies that improve cost, supplier performance, risk, and working capital.· Establish practical procurement governance, controls, reporting, and contract management.· Partner across the business to drive adoption, audit compliance, and prevent backsliding.What Success Looks Like· First 90 days: Complete the spend and supplier diagnostics, identify priority risks and opportunities, establish executive reporting, and align on a transformation roadmap.· By 180 days: Launch core governance, sourcing standards, supplier segmentation, contract disciplines, and a verified savings pipeline; begin executing priority category strategies.· By 12 months: Deliver measurable financial and operational improvements, embedded dashboards and audit routines, strengthen supplier performance, and define the next wave of value creation.What You Will Bring· 10+ years of progressive procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain experience.· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and ability to travel within the United States.· Demonstrated success building or transforming procurement in a multi-location organization.· Experience managing a large, diverse spend portfolio and delivering verified value.· Strong commercial, contracting, analytical, and supplier-management capability.· A private equity mindset and a hands-on, low-ego style: urgency, ownership, financial fluency, and constructive challenge.Why Fenix PartsYou will have executive sponsorship, broad enterprise scope, and the opportunity to build a function - not inherit a finished one.
