Apply & track with Apply EdgeSalary: $150k - $170kPosition Type: Direct HirePosition SummaryThe ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building strong supplier relationships, negotiating favorable contracts, developing sourcing strategies, and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the organization's procurement function across multiple categories of spend.Develop and implement procurement strategies that improve cost efficiency, quality, and supplier performance.Analyze current procurement processes and identify opportunities for operational improvements.Direct, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals.Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships while negotiating pricing, contracts, and service agreements.Develop commodity sourcing strategies that support business objectives.Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to ensure procurement aligns with organizational goals.Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and implement corrective actions when necessary.Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies, quality standards, and applicable regulations.Support inventory optimization and demand planning initiatives.Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.Manage procurement budgets and drive cost-saving initiatives.Prepare reports and present procurement performance metrics to executive leadership.Foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the procurement organization.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.10+ years of progressive procurement or supply chain experience.5+ years of leadership experience managing procurement teams.Demonstrated success negotiating high-value contracts and supplier agreements.Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, purchasing, inventory management, and supplier development.Experience developing commodity strategies and procurement best practices.Experience working within ERP systems (SAP or similar preferred).Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong analytical capabilities.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Experience working in an ISO-compliant manufacturing or distribution environment is preferred.
