Director of Procurement

Title: Procurement DirectorLocation : Abu Dhabi Duration : 12+ Month ROLE PURPOSELeads procurement strategy and execution for the PMC framework, structuring packaging, sourcing and contracting approaches that align delivery to UAE Gov. Client objectives. Ensures procurement supports early decision-making, value for money and risk-appropriate contract structures across the ICC, designer, supervision and contractor supply chain. Interfaces with UAE Gov. corporate procurement governance while maintaining lean, delivery-focused sourcing.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSAcademic qualification: B.Sc. Engineering / relevant qualification.Minimum experience: 20 Years.Infrastructure experience: Extensive infrastructure procurement across major capital programmes.UAE / GCC experience: UAE/GCC public-sector procurement and contracting experience expected.Certifications: Not mandatory; CIPS or equivalent procurement qualification advantageousIDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILETypical background: Senior procurement/commercial leader from PMC, client or contractor.Relevant sectors: Infrastructure, transport, municipal and utilities capital programmes.Infrastructure: Packaging and sourcing for large infrastructure programmes.Government experience: Public-sector procurement governance and tendering.Programme delivery: Procurement aligned to programme delivery baselines.Leadership level: Director-level leadership of procurement functions
