Director of ProcurementLewisville, TX (Hybrid)Lead the Supply Chain Behind Critical Power InfrastructureWe are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Procurement to lead procurement and supply chain operations for a growing High Voltage EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) business.This executive leadership role will oversee sourcing strategy, supplier management, contract negotiations, logistics, inventory strategy, and procurement operations supporting transmission, substation, renewable interconnection, and utility infrastructure projects across North America.The Director will partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Project Management, Estimating, and Executive Leadership to ensure successful project execution while driving profitability, supplier performance, and operational excellence.This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President and will lead a team of approximately 6-8 procurement professionals.Why This Opportunity?Executive-level leadership role within a growing Power Delivery businessDirect visibility to senior executive leadershipOpportunity to lead and develop an established procurement organizationInfluence sourcing strategy across major utility infrastructure projectsSignificant impact on project profitability, supplier performance, and executionHybrid work schedule based in Lewisville, TXCompetitive compensation package with bonus opportunityKey ResponsibilitiesStrategic Procurement LeadershipDevelop and execute procurement and supply chain strategies aligned with business growth objectivesBuild and lead a high-performing procurement organization focused on accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvementEstablish sourcing strategies that support successful execution of high-voltage EPC projectsDrive initiatives that improve procurement performance and project outcomesProvide executive-level reporting on procurement performance, risks, opportunities, and market trendsProject ProcurementLead procurement efforts for transmission and substation EPC projectsPartner with Estimating and Business Development teams during project pursuits and proposal developmentEnsure timely procurement of long-lead equipment and critical-path materialsDevelop procurement schedules aligned with project execution plans and customer commitmentsProactively identify and mitigate procurement-related project risksSupplier & Contract ManagementDevelop strategic relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, distributors, and subcontractorsNegotiate major supply agreements and commercial contractsEstablish supplier scorecards and performance review programsDrive cost optimization and value creation across the supply chainEnsure contractual compliance and resolve commercial issues as neededMaterials, Logistics & Inventory ManagementOversee materials planning, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and expediting activitiesEnsure material availability aligns with project schedules and field construction requirementsDevelop strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions and market volatilityImprove working capital performance while maintaining operational readinessTeam Leadership & DevelopmentRecruit, mentor, and develop procurement professionals and future leadersFoster a culture of collaboration, ownership, innovation, and continuous improvementEstablish performance expectations, goals, and development plans for the procurement teamRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field12+ years of progressive procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience7+ years of leadership experience managing procurement and supply chain teamsExperience supporting utility, power delivery, transmission, substation, renewable energy, industrial infrastructure, or EPC construction projectsDemonstrated success managing significant procurement spend and complex supplier relationshipsStrong contract negotiation and commercial management experienceProven ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teamsPreferred QualificationsHigh Voltage EPC, Power Delivery, Transmission, or Substation experienceExperience supporting projects ranging from 69kV to 500kV+Experience procuring: Power TransformersCircuit BreakersProtection & Control SystemsConductorsSteel StructuresMajor Substation Equipment and MaterialsExperience working with ERP systemsKnowledge of utility and EPC contracting models All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
