Director of Procurement (42735)Our client is an organization in the Calumet County area that’s looking for a Director of Procurement. Our client is looking for someone with 7+ years of experience, with excellent communication and leadership skills. This position is onsite.The salary for this position is $142K - $183K.The Director of Procurement will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and execute sourcing and procurement strategies to support business objectives and supply continuity.Manage supplier selection, contract negotiations, and ongoing supplier relationships to ensure quality, service, and value.Monitor market conditions and industry trends to identify opportunities, risks, and cost impacts.Ensure supplier compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.Partner with cross-functional teams to support operational needs, forecasting, and new product initiatives.Utilize procurement systems, data analysis, and performance metrics to support effective decision-making and budget management.Lead and develop procurement team members while promoting continuous improvement, collaboration, and professional excellence.The Director of Procurement will possess the following:EXPERIENCE REQUIREDAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Science, or a related field7+ years of progressive finance experienceDemonstrated success leading and scaling high-performing teamsHigh attention to detail, ownership, and accountabilityExceptional communication, negotiation, influencing, and presentation skillsProven ability to manage complex supplier relationships with strong commercial acumenEqual Opportunity EmployerThe compensation philosophy reflects the Company’s reasonable expectation at the time of posting.
