We need a procurement leader who closes deals, leads with action, and owns outcomes. This is a hands‑on execution role, not an advisory or consulting position.We are looking to hire immediately.What You Will OwnBuild and lead a team of buyers and callers. Hire, develop, and hold them accountable.Manage supplier relationships across all categories, including fresh produce and industrial goods.Lead complex negotiations involving pricing, rebates, volume tiers, supply terms, and commercial agreements.Create the communication strategy and daily playbook your team follows.Consolidate spend across our growing portfolio and convert volume into leverage.Work cross‑functionally with operations, logistics, e‑commerce, and leadership.Report directly to executive leadership. Your decisions have immediate impact.Your First 60 DaysDays 1–14: Learn the FoundationUnderstand WaterPallets at a deep operational level. Map the current supplier landscape and identify category exposures and leverage opportunities.Day 30: Own Your First CategoryTake full ownership of at least one priority category. Lead supplier conversations directly.Day 45: Build Strategy and Set StandardsYour team has a clear strategy and a structured, trackable communication playbook.Day 60: Own the ResultsAt least one new pricing agreement is signed. A ninety‑day sourcing roadmap is presented to leadership. You own the relationships, the process, and the outcomes.Key Performance IndicatorsSecure supplier relationships and competitive pricing across all focus categories.Earn trust from key team leaders and drive alignment toward business goals.Achieve annual cost savings or value targets aligned with budget expectations.Define and report on metrics that measure supply effectiveness and cost savings.Champion standards, process improvements, and best practices across procurement.What We SourceOur product portfolio includes fresh produce, packaged consumer goods, and industrial supply. You will source across all categories, and new categories are added as we grow: Bananas and fresh produceBeveragesSalt pelletsOutdoor propaneOversize productsDEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid)Additional categories added regularlyQualificationsSeven or more years of experience in procurement, purchasing, strategic sourcing, or supply chain.Proven track record leading supplier negotiations involving pricing, rebates, volume programs, and commercial terms.Background in wholesale club retail, e‑commerce distribution, or pallet‑level supply chain strongly preferred.Experience building and managing a team of buyers or purchasing staff.Comfortable sourcing across diverse categories and able to negotiate confidently without being a specialist.CRM‑disciplined with an always‑current supplier pipeline.Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Finance, or equivalent experience.We are a fast‑paced, energetic startup.
