This leader will serve as the executive escalation point for complex supplier and supply chain challenges while ensuring production requirements are met safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop a high-performing procurement organization.Build procurement and material planning strategies that align with business and production objectives.Manage executive-level supplier relationships and negotiations.Ensure material availability while balancing inventory, quality, lead time, and total cost.Drive supplier performance, cost savings, and value engineering initiatives.Establish procurement KPIs, dashboards, and operating rhythms.Identify and mitigate supply chain risks related to capacity, logistics, quality, and sole-source dependencies.Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Sales, Customer Care, and Legal teams.Champion continuous improvement, process standardization, and MRP discipline throughout the organization.Ideal BackgroundWe're looking for an accomplished procurement and supply chain leader who brings:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline.8+ years of progressive procurement, materials planning, or supply chain experience in manufacturing.5+ years of leadership experience managing managers and multi-level teams.Proven success leading supplier negotiations, contracts, procurement operations, and commercial decisions.Strong expertise in MRP, inventory management, supplier performance management, and supply chain risk mitigation.Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and translate data into executive-level decisions.Experience with lean manufacturing, procurement transformation, continuous improvement, or value engineering is highly preferred.
