Led by founder Mark Tolland, the company operates with a family office mindset, prioritising discretion, expertise and long-term client relationships.With permanent offices in Dubai and Mallorca, Abode Property provides personalised property advisory and management services to an international client base.Role DescriptionThe Director of Property Management is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced property management professional to establish and lead a new department from the ground up.The successful candidate will recruit and build a capable team, create the department’s operational structure, implement systems and procedures, and develop a professional and scalable property management business.Key Responsibilities* Establish and launch the property management department.* Recruit, build and lead a high-performing team.* Create the department’s structure, systems, procedures and service standards.* Develop new business and grow the managed property portfolio.* Oversee the end-to-end management of high-value residential and commercial properties.* Manage leasing, tenancy administration, maintenance, compliance and financial reporting.* Build strong relationships with owners, tenants, contractors and strategic partners.* Monitor team performance, service quality, budgets and asset performance.* Ensure compliance with Dubai and UAE property regulations.Qualifications* Significant property management experience.* Proven experience establishing or growing a property management department.* A strong record of recruiting, building and leading teams.* Strong knowledge of Dubai property management, tenancy regulations and market practices.* Experience managing high-value residential or commercial property portfolios.* Strong leadership, operational, budgeting and reporting capabilities.* Excellent business development, negotiation and relationship-management skills.* A relevant degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance or a related field is essential.* Professional property or facilities management qualifications are an advantage.* Fluent English is essential; additional languages are beneficial.
