Company: North Shore Plumbing SupplyAbout the RoleNorth Shore Plumbing Supply is seeking a hands-on Purchasing Director to oversee purchasing, vendor relationships, and inventory management.

The ideal candidate is a strong negotiator who understands wholesale distribution and can use our ERP system to improve purchasing decisions, product availability, and profitability.ResponsibilitiesNegotiate vendor pricing, payment terms, freight, rebates, and purchasing agreements.Manage purchasing and replenishment to maintain appropriate inventory levels and minimize stockouts.Monitor inventory turns, slow-moving products, and excess stock.Manage ERP purchasing processes and maintain accurate product, cost, and vendor information.Build vendor relationships and address delivery, pricing, and product availability issues.Coordinate with sales and warehouse teams to meet customer needs and anticipate demand.Analyze purchasing and inventory reports to identify savings and improve margins.QualificationsExperience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management within wholesale distribution.Strong negotiation skills and experience managing vendor relationships.Proficiency with ERP systems; Epicor Eclipse experience is a plus.Plumbing supply industry experience preferred.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to take ownership, prioritize competing demands, and follow through in a fast-paced environment.How to ApplyApply through LinkedIn with your résumé.
