They are currently seeking an experienced clinical leader to serve as the Director of Quality Management for their Bronx based operations. This role is central to ensuring that patients and their families receive the highest standard of care during life limiting illnesses through rigorous oversight of clinical performance and safety protocols.The Director will be responsible for the strategic design and execution of the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement plan. You will act as a primary advisor to senior executives regarding healthcare trends and regulatory shifts, translating complex data into actionable quality initiatives. By utilizing PDSA methodologies and statistical benchmarking, you will drive systemic improvements across all hospice and palliative service lines.Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain a comprehensive QAPI program that exceeds state and federal mandatesMonitor and report on critical quality indicators and clinical performance benchmarks to the executive teamSupervise risk management activities and utilize online tracking systems to mitigate high risk clinical processesLead the CMS Hospice Quality Reporting Program including HIS and CAHPS data managementFoster a culture of excellence by collaborating with patient experience and customer service departmentsOversee departmental budgeting staffing and professional development for the quality teamServe as a subject matter expert on New York State Department of Health and federal hospice regulationsProfessional RequirementsCurrent New York State Registered Nurse licenseBachelor of Science in Nursing is required while a Master degree is highly preferredAt least five years of leadership experience specifically within Quality Management or Performance ImprovementDirect professional experience working within a hospice or palliative care environmentAdvanced proficiency in statistical process control tools and data analysisDeep familiarity with federal and NYS regulatory compliance standardsThis is an exceptional opportunity to join a mission driven organization that values clinical integrity and innovative care delivery.
