As the company continues to scale, we’re looking for a Director of Global Learning & Development to build the learning infrastructure that will support that growth.This is not a traditional L&D maintenance role. You’ll have the opportunity to build programs, processes and infrastructure from the ground up—and directly influence how sales reps, clinical specialists, marketing teams and international distributor partners learn, sell and support the company’s technology.What You’ll OwnBuild and lead global onboarding and certification programs for sales, clinical and marketing teamsDevelop product, procedure, technique and commercial training programsCreate a scalable training and certification model for international distributorsDevelop case-based selling, objection handling and procedure-focused training in partnership with Marketing and Clinical/Medical AffairsEstablish ongoing certification and re-certification programs tied to product launches, labeling changes and technique updatesOwn the company’s Learning Management System (LMS), including content architecture, reporting and completion trackingApply adult learning and instructional design principles across instructor-led, virtual and self-paced programsBuild a scalable library of training assets including videos, simulations, assessments and job aidsDevelop leadership and manager-effectiveness programs as the organization growsPartner with HR and functional leaders on career development, succession planning and skills-gap analysisSupport training and change-management initiatives associated with new systems, processes and organizational growthCoordinate training across U.S. and international markets, adapting programs for language, regulatory and cultural requirementsPartner with Regulatory and Quality to ensure training content aligns with current labeling and international requirementsOwn training readiness as part of new product launch planningManage external training vendors, faculty and physician education relationshipsOwn the L&D budget and determine when to build internally versus leverage outside resourcesWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree required8+ years of Learning & Development experience3–5+ years within medical device, pharmaceutical or another regulated commercial environmentProven success building sales and/or clinical training programs from the ground upExperience training both direct employees and distributor/third-party sales channelsHands-on experience with LMS administration, instructional design and adult learning principlesComfortable operating in a clinical/procedural environmentStrong facilitator who can personally deliver training—not simply manage the functionWillingness to travel approximately 30–40%, including internationallyEven Better If You HaveExperience commercializing a novel or category-creating medical technologyExperience in a startup or high-growth medical device companyExperience driving physician or field behavior changeExperience building international training programs through distributorsExperience working within European markets / EU MDR / CE Mark requirementsFluency in an additional languageWhy This Opportunity?You won’t be inheriting a finished training organization—you’ll be building it.This is an opportunity for a hands-on L&D leader to create the strategy, curriculum, certification infrastructure and learning culture that will support a growing global commercial organization.If you’ve been looking for a role where your work can have a visible impact on a company's growth—and where you can build something rather than simply maintain it—this could be a great fit.Location: RemoteTravel: Approximately 30–40%Industry: Medical Device / MedTech
