Teams use Goldcast to run webinars, virtual and hybrid events, and video series, and then use Content Lab to turn every recording into clips, blogs, social posts and other content that keeps driving pipeline long after the event ends.In December 2025, Goldcast became part of Cvent, the leading meetings, events and hospitality technology company. Together we are combining Cvent's large-scale event management platform with Goldcast's AI and video capabilities so every event becomes a content engine that drives measurable ROI. You get the pace and ownership of a product team, with the reach and resources of a global company.Role OverviewWe are looking for an engineering leader to own a major part of the Goldcast engineering organization in India. You will lead multiple teams through managers, own delivery and reliability for your product areas, and help shape how AI shows up in both our product and the way we build it. You will also play a key role in bringing Goldcast and Cvent together, on the platform, in process, and in product. In This Role, You Will:Lead and grow the org: Run multiple teams through engineering managers and tech leads. Hire, coach and develop managers, and build a culture of ownership, speed and high standards.Own outcomes, not just delivery: Be accountable for what ships, how reliable it is, and what it costs to run. Set clear goals and track them with real metrics (delivery predictability, uptime, quality, cloud cost).Build AI into the product: Partner with Product and our AI team to ship features like transcription, summaries, AI clipping, content generation, recommendations and agent-based workflows, with the right guardrails for quality, cost and safety.Make the team AI-native: Drive the use of AI coding and testing tools across the org, and measure the impact on speed and quality.Run live, at scale: Make sure our live video and streaming experiences hold up when thousands of attendees join at once. Own SLAs, on-call, incident management and postmortems.Shape the architecture: Work with architects and principal engineers on the technical roadmap: scaling the platform on AWS, media and data pipelines, and paying down tech debt with a plan.Lead the Cvent integration: Drive platform, tooling and process alignment with Cvent (Jira, incident management, security, data) and integrate Goldcast with Cvent Event Cloud products, without slowing down the roadmap.Partner across functions: Work closely with Product, Design, CS, Support and US leadership. Turn business goals into engineering plans for the next quarter and the next year, and keep stakeholders informed.Stay close to customers: Understand how B2B marketers use the product, own customer-impacting escalations for your area, and use that feedback to set priorities. Here's What You Need:18+ years in software engineering, with at least 5 years leading managers (manager of managers) in a product company.A track record of shipping and running a SaaS product at scale: distributed systems, high-concurrency services, and multi-tenant architecture on a public cloud (AWS preferred).Hands-on understanding of how AI/LLM features are built and run in production: model selection, prompt and evaluation workflows, cost and latency trade-offs.Experience with real-time video, streaming, media processing or other low-latency systems is a strong plus.Strong technical judgment. You don't need to write code every day, but you can go deep on a design review, an incident, or a performance problem.Experience hiring and building teams, including growing first-time managers and setting up career paths.Comfort leading through change: post-acquisition integration, reorgs, or platform migrations.Clear, direct communication with senior leaders and with distributed teams across India and the US.A product mindset. You care about why we are building something, not only how.Nice to Have:Experience in martech, events, webinar or video platforms.Experience with data platforms and analytics that show customer ROI.Background in a high-growth startup as well as a larger company. Why join:You will lead a team building one of the most AI-forward products in the events space, with direct impact on how thousands of companies run and reuse their events, and with the backing of Cvent to scale it globally.
