🚀 We're Hiring: Director of Software Engineering – AI-First Products & Platforms📍 Location: Hyderabad, India💼 Experience: 15+ YearsAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced engineering leader to lead and scale high-performing engineering organizations responsible for next-generation AI-first software products and cloud platforms.This role combines engineering leadership, product ownership, technical strategy, organizational development, and AI-driven transformation. The ideal candidate will have experience building engineering leaders, modernizing enterprise-scale platforms, and delivering measurable business and customer outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead engineering organizations through engineering managers, architects, principal engineers, and senior technical leaders.Build, develop, and retain high-performing engineering teams, with a strong leadership and succession pipeline.Drive cloud modernization, platform scalability, reliability, maintainability, and engineering excellence.Lead AI-first transformation across software product development and engineering operations.Partner with Product, Architecture, Data, Design, and Business teams to deliver strategic outcomes.Establish strong engineering practices to improve delivery predictability, quality, productivity, and accountability.Influence technology strategy, architecture decisions, and long-term platform investments.Lead organizational growth and contribute to global engineering strategy.Required Skills & Experience15+ years of software engineering experience.Proven experience leading large engineering organizations, ideally involving 60–150 engineers through engineering managers and senior technical leaders.Experience leading monolith-to-SaaS migration in high-trust domains such as tax, payments, banking, or ERP.Strong technical expertise in Java/Spring Boot or C#/.NET, with Python experience for AI.Hands-on understanding of AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps, Terraform, SQL/NoSQL, and Snowflake.Strong knowledge of system design, architectural patterns, object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms.Understanding of multithreading, asynchronous programming, synchronization, and cloud-native architectures.Experience delivering AI-enabled products and implementing AI-first engineering practices.Strong business acumen, executive communication, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership skills.Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.If you have the experience to lead large-scale engineering organizations and build the next generation of AI-first enterprise platforms, we'd love to connect!
