SUMMARY OVERVIEWThe Director of Station Operations is responsible for overseeing all aspects of station operations, including passenger services, baggage handling, ground support, and fueling operations where applicable. This leadership role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient airport operations while driving financial performance, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. The Director partners with airline customers, airport authorities, regulatory agencies, and internal departments to achieve operational goals and uphold PrimeFlight’s safety and service standards.RESPONSIBILITIESOversee all aspects of station operations including passenger services, baggage handling, ground support, and fueling in applicable locationsDevelop and implement operational strategies to ensure efficient and safe airport station functioningProvide leadership and direction to a diverse team of operational managers and frontline staff, establishing clear goals and performance expectationsEnsure compliance with all FAA, TSA, DOT, airport authority, and company regulations and safety standardsActively promote and support the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) initiatives and safety cultureCoordinate with airline partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operationsMonitor operational processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and service qualityOversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation for station operationsAnalyze operational and financial reports to track KPIs, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as neededLead emergency response and crisis management efforts during operational disruptionsImplement training programs to enhance employee skills, safety awareness, and service performanceFoster a customer-focused culture to ensure a positive passenger experienceCollaborate with other departments to optimize cross-functional workflows and communicationLead strategic planning efforts to support station growth and operational scalabilityEnsure maintenance and proper upkeep of airport facilities, equipment, and assetsPerform any additional duties as assigned by managementQUALIFICATIONS18 years of age or olderEligible to work in the United StatesAbility to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, including documentsMust have reliable transportationStrong leadership and team management experience in airport or aviation operationsAbility to apply logic and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formStrong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and EmailDemonstrated competencies in Problem-Solving, Customer Service, Interpersonal Communication, and Oral CommunicationAbility to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays within a 24/7 operation as requiredTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential requirement satisfactorily.
