Director of Surgical ServicesPerioperative Services | Full-Time | Days | ExemptSalary Range: $94,473.60 – $155,292.80 annuallyThe Director of Surgical Services provides strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for the Operating Room (OR), Pre-Op, Ambulatory Surgery, PACU, and Sterile Processing (SPD). This hands-on leader partners with physicians and executive leadership to drive quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, financial performance, and employee engagement across perioperative services.As a visible, hands-on leader, the Director partners with physicians, anesthesia providers, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize surgical services, develop high-performing teams, and drive continuous improvement.Lead operations for the OR, Pre-Op, Ambulatory Surgery, PACU, and SPD.Develop and lead high-performing teams while driving accountability and engagement.Partner with physicians and executive leadership to improve quality, efficiency, and patient outcomes.Oversee staffing, productivity, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement initiatives.Monitor key metrics including OR utilization, first-case on-time starts, throughput, and patient experience.
