The Training Manager is a key member of the Operations Services team, responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that build workforce capability and drive operational excellence. This role partners closely with department leaders to identify skill gaps, develop targeted learning solutions, and ensure all team members are equipped to perform at the highest level. The Training Manager plays a critical role in onboarding new employees, upskilling existing staff, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. This role also owns internal communications and training activation, ensuring all programs are effectively promoted and launched across the organization.What You’ll DoTraining Program Design & DeliveryDevelop and maintain comprehensive training curricula for all operational roles, including onboarding, role-specific technical training, and leadership development programsDesign and deliver instructor-led, e-learning, and blended learning solutions aligned with business objectivesCreate training materials including manuals, job aids, presentations, quick-reference guides, and e-learning modulesFacilitate engaging training sessions for diverse audiences across all levels of the organizationNeeds Assessment & Performance ConsultingPartner with operations leaders and HR to conduct training needs analyses and identify skill gaps across departmentsTranslate operational challenges and business goals into targeted learning interventionsProvide consultative support to managers on performance improvement and team development strategiesProgram Management & AdministrationManage end-to-end training project timelines, resources, and vendor relationshipsMaintain accurate training records, completion tracking, and certification documentation in the Learning Management System (LMS)Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and communications for training events and workshopsManage training budget allocations and report on expendituresInternal Communications & Training ActivationDevelop and execute internal communication plans to promote, launch, and sustain training programs across Operations ServicesCreate compelling training announcements, newsletters, and campaign materials that drive awareness and participation in learning initiativesManage end-to-end activation of training campaigns including messaging timelines, channel selection (email, intranet, digital signage, team meetings), and audience targetingPartner with operations leaders and HR to ensure consistent, clear communication of training requirements, deadlines, and expectations to all staffDevelop and maintain a training communications calendar to coordinate launches, reminders, and follow-up messaging across departmentsCreate post-training communications to reinforce key learning, celebrate completions, and share program outcomes with stakeholdersLeverage internal platforms (SharePoint, Teams, company intranet, newsletters) to maximize reach and engagement for training initiativesTrack and report on communication effectiveness and training campaign engagement metrics; use insights to continuously improve activation strategiesEvaluation & Continuous ImprovementAnalyze training data and metrics to identify trends, report on ROI, and make data-driven recommendationsContinuously update and improve training programs based on feedback, operational changes, and industry best practicesCompliance & QualityEnsure all training programs comply with applicable regulatory, safety, and quality standardsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance training requirements and update programs accordinglyPartner with Quality and Compliance teams to support audit readiness and corrective action training initiativesWhat You BringMinimum 10 years of progressive experience in training & development, with at least 5 years in an operations or service environment.
