Responsibilities

● Develop and execute transportation strategies that improve service, efficiency, and profitability● Lead inbound and outbound transportation operations, drivers, dispatch, and fleet maintenance● Oversee transportation budgets, freight spend, fuel usage, and operational costs● Negotiate contracts with carriers and transportation partners● Ensure DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and regulatory compliance● Analyze KPIs and transportation data to drive continuous improvement● Partner with Operations, Sales, Customer Service, and leadership to support company objectives● Evaluate new technology and systems to improve transportation performanceExperience: ● 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet management● Proven success leading large-scale inbound and outbound transportation operations● Strong experience managing transportation budgets and controlling costs● Expertise with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and transportation analytics● Outstanding leadership, communication, and team development skills● Strategic mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence
